On behalf of Legion Ireland, Roman Historical Re-enactment Society I would like to let ye all know about an event being held in the Cork Showgrounds on the 17TH and 18TH May 2008
The event will be known as the Battle of the Ancients and it will be is a multi-period event, Bronze age to late Gallowglas and everything in between. This is a public fundraising event for Legion Ireland as the group is trying to raise funds for much needed equipment. So Guys your support would be just great!!!. Please everyone, put this on your events calender. Many Thanks !
